After the release of the ultra mellow joint that was "Asphalt" (if you've missed that one, check it out here) Jordan Raf is back, giving another taste of his addictive blend of R&B and alternative sounds. The 21 year old producer has spent the last few months kicking it in Japan alongside a number of producers and engineers from Los Angeles' most sought after experimental hip hop spot, Low End Theory, for the release of his debut album, Double Negative.
Linking up with UCLA alum Toy Light, "Pages Apart" has Raf laying it all on the line and reminiscing on the distance between himself and his loved ones. The juxtaposition of the singer's falsetto and distortive tones from the heart wrenching production make this one worth bumping again and again. While Double Negative doesn't have a release date set in stone as of yet, expect the project to drop sometime this winter.
