Steven Ellison's latest LP as Flying Lotus was our favorite album of 2014, and it's not hard to see why; from its conceptual unity to its incredible genre diversity, You're Dead! was the most head-spinning musical experience of the year. While the album's best track may be FlyLo's collab with Kendrick Lamar, "Never Catch Me," I'd argue the its most powerful and surprising moment is "Coronus, the Terminator," a ghostly hymn with the list of vocal contributors including Ellison himself.
"Coronus" is the latest You're Dead! track to get a music video, and like his other visuals, it doesn't disappoint. The track's length is significantly extended to accommodate the epic video, which follows a dead man as he wanders the afterlife, running into a phantom FlyLo and his gang of popping-and-locking ghoul buddies. It's not as comical as it sounds, though; in fact, out of all of You're Dead!'s creepy videos, this is the best and most frightening yet.
