Knytro shares the impressive “Cry Love”

With full support from UK production duo Chase and Status and having recently signed to their label MTA Records, US lyricist Knytro is back with a vengeance on his new track "Cry Love". Further to featuring on Essex producer Herve's latest high tempo track "Money Where Your Mouth Is", the consistently meticulous rapper has gone back to his hip-hop roots on this impressive track, drawing similarities to J Dilla and Flying Lotus on the production.

"Cry Love" is smooth, jazzy hip-hop with a classy vocal line from UK R&B singer Fabienne; her contribution could easily be a sample from a classic soul track. Rumour has it Knytro's next excursion is his sophomore mixtape, yet to be named, which is set for release early next year and no doubt contains more auditory fire. With Zane Lowe approvingly quoting his debut tape Project Haarpoon as 'The Best Of 2013' we note this rising lyricist as one to watch.
