Over the course of 2014, Galantis have soared to the top of the dance music scene, quickly become favorites in a industry marked by fierce competition and cutthroat criticism. Calling the Dominican Republic their home, Omar Andino & Kelvin Beat have made it their mission to bring dance music prestige to the island nation. So far it's been a successful adventure, as the pair blew past 500,000 plays on Soundcloud in just a few months from high-profile reworks of Clean Bandit, Faul & Wad Ad vs. Pnau, The Chainsmokers and Cazzette. Add to that their "U & I" remix, which takes the energetic and emotive anthem in an all-new, deeper direction. Instead of bold builds and bassy drops, the pair opt for a refined house approach, keeping the track in check with hollow synth melodies, muted brassy mids, and masterful reworking of the song's unforgettable lyrics.
