London singer Caitlyn Scarlett has treated us to a brand new track "War Cry" produced by fellow talented Londoner Ayo Beatz. "War Cry" comes after her debut EP Jurassic Jukebox and Other Drugs which was released in May this year, and is the first track to be released off her second EP, which is yet to be announced.
The 19 year old demonstrates a gutsy edge with this new self-written track. The military-like rhythmic accompaniment and rippling bass supports the haunting lyrics, which are delivered with serious zing. The production from Ayo Beatz is original and although the bird calls, howling wolves and lion roars are slightly amusing, they sure fit the halloween theme.
Scarlett features on Little Simz and Jakwob's hugely anticipated EP Time Capsule, which is due out on 14th December. Keep an eye out for this and her solo EP coming in 2015!
