It's been a minute since we last heard from Karl Kling, however, “I Will Wait” is quite a different type of tune from the last. It’s one that begs a vulnerable listener, as it evokes those “type of way” feelings. As it airily unfurls, it slowly pulls you in and you can’t help but think of a personal moment. “I will wait for you.” We’ve all been there, right? Regardless of the person or situation that comes to mind, this is an all-encompassing song; the gentle relatability is something that makes this song endearing from the first listen. It plays out like a lullaby, with the vocals delicately overlapping the consoling instrumentals. Rarely do songs merit this much glowing affection, but from the first listen we were hooked. Kudos to Kling for this hit new release!
