Toronto remix king Grandtheft has a knack for taking golden tunes and flipping them into platinum club ready bangers. When Grandtheft teamed up with Diplo to flip Calvin Harris’ “Summer” it was turnt to titanium status. Theft’s remix of “This Is How We Do,” by Katy Perry was so good Katy even had to give it some twitter loving. So it is no wonder than when Sony Music was looking for an artist to remix “No Mediocre” by T.I. and Iggy Azalea that they chose Grandtheft. Theft keeps the original verses and hooks in place while adding electrifying synth stabs and a clap track that add a massive feel to the remix that is far from mediocre.
