Bringing the smooth pain and lyrical wisdom together, Joelistics tells the narrative tale of love gone wrong as two people come together and fall apart and regroup again. It's the side of the story romantic comedies often fail to mention- the slacker boy and the proper girl, neither noticing the discrepancy in lifestyle until it's all too late.
This cautionary tale is mixed with a catchy number, beautiful video, and a great narrative form in his lyricism that is both easy to follow and amazingly coherent. With help from Kaity Dunstan, the song perfectly comes together. While I'm not always a fan of songs like this, this one was too well put together to not be blasting over the last couple of days.
