Almost a year ago, LA-based production duo MAKO put up a song on their Soundcloud entitled "Our Story." Their story is indeed one of my favorites, a reminder of the way professionally trained musicians and those who love the stage can pair up to do great things. "Our Story" was an uplifting track that the guys posted for free download, that is, until Ultra Records got a hold of it. Prior to the days where record labels partnered with artists on free downloads, Logan and Alex saw their track re-released, with a matching impressive music video. Today, the track has been remixed by Michael Brun. Fresh off the launch of his Caribbean-influenced record label Fuze Recordings, Brun has taken the track and given it some big room qualities, expanding the intricacies in the feel of the details of it.
