Well, Black Boots seems to be the answer, the duo of Mikey Francis and Pedi Amiri who "live for the party, the women, and the free food on our DJ rider." Over the last 6 months the pair have gone from SoundCloud success to SoundCloud stardom, charting tens to hundreds of thousands of plays on each track. Those works have included remixes, like that of Calvin Harris's recent hit, "Cuba", to their revision of the eternally classic Jay-Z anthem, "99 Problems".
Today they're celebrating recent successes by giving away the heavy-hitting original, "Tupac", as a free download via their Facebook. Full of climatic drops and the crisp drum work you expect from something big enough to make a festival crowd lean, the track testifies to Black Boots' hard work and sure flow.
