Psymun's one of those producers I first started paying serious attention to early on in my blogging days, which means I've had the opportunity of seeing him grow into a style and sound with an honesty towards hip hop that I don't always get to see so close.
This is a track that he did just for fun apparently, but even this is serious gold. It's got a great ode to the sampling pioneers out there, while still innovating and progressing in his own style. He's definitely one of the most exciting producers to watch, and he's definitely one of my secret weapons when I'm showing off music to my friends.
