Kitsune has always been a trusted label for high quality releases that swim in the deep end of the electronic pool. Whether new to the scene or veteran producers, the artists that grace the imprint always possess an innate talent that place them a step above the rest. So is the case with Davidian, a young DJ and producer from Nottingham, England, who returns to Kitsune for "Could Never" with fellow countrywomen Eli&Fur (you may recognize them from their stellar Illusions EP last year). Releasing October 6th, the original will come packaged with three remixes by £zus Million, Vague Recollection, and Artifact.
A favorite here at EARMILK, you may have seen Artifact cross our pages a short while back for the premiere of his track "How Did You Change". Well today we follow that up with his rework of "Could Never", which takes the original's crisp piano lines and shimmering overtones and turns them into muted likenesses, more perfect for the darkness of night. Catch the release early October and keep an ear out for all things Artifact.
