Los Angeles based rapper-come-producer extraordinaire Kidd Upstairs has been on a steady path towards hip hop stardom the past couple of years. With singles such as "Amanda Bynes", "Lollipop Blunts" and "Andrew Wiggins" all helping cement Kidd's status as one of the west coast finest up and coming talents. This fact was further rammed home when he released his debut album DMNDS Deluxe back in February, with fans and critics alike lapping it up with delight.
Now, with that project firmly under his belt, Kidd is back with a brand new joint for the world to enjoy, in the shape of "Insta Gram$". Whilst the title may suggest the track is a cheeky tongue in cheek dig at a popular photo sharing app, the song instead focuses on women who will do anything and everything to score some freebies. With a typically banging beat produced by Portland beat-wizard Stewart Villain, Kidd really goes in hard, delivering some clever lyrical prowess alongside an incredibly concise flow, making for a truly engrossing listen.
