The ever-mysterious Moon Boots is an artist we don't know much about. Besides his obvious ability for curating fantastic music, he continues to remain something of a perplexing artist to us. Recently the talented musician came together with the talented chanteuse, Kyiki for a really well done original, "Don't Ask Why". The song will feature a remix pack releasing the last days of August, with artists Vanilla Ace & Barber, LCAW, B1g Pr0j3ct, and Marlon Hoffstadt all lending a personal touch on the tune. Cr2 Records has been amazing to let EARMILK preview a taste of one of these remarkable works, and we bring you Marlon Hoffstadt's remix for Moon Boots.

The German Marlon Hoffstadt is a deep/tech house producer that shares a really similar style to Moon Boots but was able to add an extra lightness to the track with his remix. Being able to dance with the tenderness of the original vocals, he adds in a perfect bounce to the song's end, imbuing it with that quintessential deep flavor. Throughout the work, a futuristic synth grips the journey, acting as a sort of glue for the whole song and making this a really well done remix.

Stay tuned for the rest of the remixes set to release later this month, as all of the artists killed it in their own way, paying respect to Moon Boot's vintage sound.
