Great Dane revives Spooky Black’s “Without You”

As co-founder of TeamSupreme and member of Alpha Pup Records, Great Dane is no doubt a stalwart of beat music and fixture in the LA scene (Dane is often found rolling with the crew to the notorious Low End Theory Club). Earlier this month, he gave us his rendition of Chris Brown’s “Loyal,” and it’s just filthy. This has been my designated “turn up” song, and now, Dane’s dropped something on the more soulful, downtempo side to complement this. Many of you may remember that enigmatic white kid from Minnesota, who became an Internet sensation, Spooky Black. Well, today, Dane revives Spooky’s R&B hit “Without You” with playful percussion and growling 808s. Per usual, his production is pristine and on point.
