French producer Matt Fax has returned this week to claim a coveted spot on the Beatport features panel in progressive house. Though many of those spots are usually given to progressive club house releases, Fax and other his true progressive contemporaries have a big fight to win each week for that spot, and his Avalon EP out this week on Arrival has proven itself worthy. The two tracks "Avalon" and "Over The Edge" are luxurious atmospheric tracks with layers of sound and melody that are both calming and hypnotic at the same time.
