With tons of music coming out on a daily basis, staying on top of what's popping could easily turn into a full time gig. Portugal based label Enchufada is making our lives easier with their amazing track record of bass heavy releases via their Upper Cuts series. By day, The Clerk is your typical mild-mannered bank employee, but everything changes when the sun goes down and the Italian producer goes to his real job: crafting body shaking jams that could bring the dead back to life.
"Cairo" isn't your flavour-of-the-week cheesy, big house "banger;" it's a hypnotic and seamless blend of bass and juke lo-fi goodness with a dash of Arabic influences. We're treated to three minutes of juicy switch ups on the track that gradually build up into an all out, high-octane festival explosion that would fit nicely in a Diplo set.
