I live in San Diego, and even though the town may not be the smoggiest of them all, it's still nothing compared to that of the mountain wilderness. The fresh trees, sunshine, and overall nature coincide much better with beautiful music. Perhaps that's why the game has been so drowned out, residing in only big cities…
Anyway, before I rant too much, I'd love to share an outdoor project from the man Leon Osborn. I first introduced you to him back when he dropped "Vinson Massif" and today he has compiled all of his Tuesday drops in July into a set called Nature Strips. The playlist is inspired by places on the planet, as the canvas of any artist should be. I'm more enthralled by someone who takes physical inspiration than forced inspiration.
As I mentioned in my previous post, Leon is a Perth producer who has been gaining praise from Sable, Cosmo’s Midnight, Wave Racer, Willow Beats and Elizabeth Rose. That's the kind of press you don't second guess.
The set is finally complete as we ring in the end of July, so make sure you nab this one and share a few hearts to Leon. I'm excited to see what the Die High Records representative has in store for us in the near future. It's not too often we see drops every week.
