As the world wakes up to begin another working week, with some of us still feeling a little fragile after the weekends events, we've been blessed with something to ease us into the week ahead, and make everything a little more bearable. This comes in the form of a brand new cut from the sought after Toronto native, The Weeknd.
The crooner recently announced his 'King Of The Fall' tour, which sees him joined by Schoolboy Q & Jhene Aiko as he hits up Brooklyn, Los Angeles, Toronto & San Francisco in September & October. Today we've been hit with a brand new joint, of the same name as the tour, as he drops the outlandishly brilliant "King Of The Fall". Featuring all the traits of a Weeknd song, with hard hitting drums and crunchy snares overlapped with distortion tinged bass lines and airy, atmospheric synths. As always, the lyrical content is familiar to many of his long standing fans as he croons his way through subject matter involving girls, drugs and dealing with his fame. He also gives praise to his mentor Doc McKinney, whom he worked closely with on House Of Balloons & Thursday, as well as a 'stuntin' line about selling out the massive o2 Arena in London on his recent Kiss Land tour in the UK.
You can stream "King Of The Fall" below, and if you're feeling what you're hearing, the track is available to download for FREE over on his Soundcloud.
