UK-based rap outfit Ceiling Demons are no strangers to EARMILK. The Yorkshire-dwelling trio and their brand of alternative rap have been featured a couple of times already, with a loyal fanbase steadily growing with each track released.
This week, Ceiling Demons dropped both their latest single "Amputated Spirit" and the video to go with it. Backed by a heavy, string covered beat with hard kicks and crunchy snares, each emcee goes through their verses with a truly captivating hunger and passion, with a catchy hook thrown in for good measure.
Each rapper also brings his own unique flow to the table, with almost every line detailing their unique individuality and touching on some key points related to today's society. The visuals complement the song perfectly, as the monochrome tones mixed with the masked figures that make up the Ceiling Demons offer a darker side than the upbeat instrumental would suggest. The trio, backed by another masked person playing a cello, recite their rhymes in the more urban surroundings of Yorkshire.
