Prospective Audio head Pyrrhic remixes Arrows Down’s “Fugitives”

Prospective Audio is a label to be watched, serving up forward-thinking electronic music from their home in Leeds, UK. Their newest signing, London-based singer and producer Arrows Down, will release the Fugitives EP on June 25^th. The title track, with its haunting piano melody and unexpected Jon Hopkins-esque crunch, is already streaming, and now the remix, courtesy of label boss Lee Sanderson, a.k.a. Pyrrhic, can be heard below.

While the original track suspensefully teeters on the brink of annihilation before diving headfirst into the void, Pyrrhic takes things in a dancier direction, adding rapid-fire percussion and sinister synths. Arrows Down’s vocal is incredible, dark but quite catchy, and such a strong track deserves a more club-oriented evil twin.

“We are but moments fleeting,” Arrows Down sings, but chances are this one could be stuck in your head all day. Be on the lookout for the Fugitives EP in the near future, and don’t get caught sleeping by Prospective Audio.
