After an impressive EARMILK debut with the intense video for “Balaclava”, WNDRKND is back with the delivery of “Deus”. PGMW takes production credits once again for the pitch-black cut which sees the North Carolina emcee continue on his provocative, inventive path with plenty of explosive bars thrown in. There’s also some interesting input from Chicago in the shape of a creatively placed verse from Ibn Inglor, who slams into “Deus” with a cleverly executed rant which challenges the artistic territory that WNDRKND occupies.

In addition WNDRKND’s use of Inglor’s deliberately challenging and grounding verse, “Deus” also boasts a swimmy, industrial beat that acts as the ideal platform for some vicious lyricism and a hellacious hook that fellow NC rapper Well$ co-wrote. Seemingly picking up more momentum with each release, WNDRKND will be dropping his forthcoming EP in the summer.
