As the week seems to steamroll ahead (well, at least for me that is), we've already been treated to some really great music. Today, we have been offered another visual treat, this time from UK punk-rap outfit Murkage, who have just released the video for their latest single "Manifesto". Fresh off the release of their aggressively brilliant debut album Of Mystics & Misfits (you can read the EARMILK review here), the Manchester based band coincided their visuals alongside the official release of their single.
The video, directed by band member Gaika Tavares, was filmed in Amsterdam, and is arguably the groups biggest video to date. The visuals feature the band tearing round the woodland on quad bikes, whilst cutting in shots of Murkage Dave, Two One and Gaika spitting their verses with some very picturesque backdrops. The Dutch wilderness acts as a real atmospheric arena, with sweeping views of the beach, and a rather epic angle of the entire band, and guest emcee Nekfeu (part of French rap collective S Crew), stood on some rocks as a smoke bomb wisps away in the background.
