Based out of Minneapolis, Carroll are a four-piece band that make distanced indie gems. Having released one full EP entitled Needs, Carroll are looking forward with plans to releases a full-length, self titled album in the future. In perfect time for the heating weather, Carroll have released the first single off of their debut album called "Bad Water".
Taking no time to dig into its solid groove, "Bad Water" keeps things consistent, focusing on a catchy vocal momentum and wholesome instrumental backing to carry the load. In all the song succeeds from not trying to be anything that it isn't, straying from the bells and whistles that we generally find crowding the genre and in doing so reminding us of a time when indie rock was just indie rock.
