Ellie Goulding's voice transcends genres, securing a place in every style of music limited only by an artist's imagination and production skill set. That said, LA-based electronic group Vindata successfully adapted Ellie's emotive "Beating Heart" from apposite movie anthem to sad boy nu-trap banger. The remix goes several places, all of which employ incomparable song structures. The sound design is familiar, similar to that of Ryan Hemsworth and Mr Carmack, while the glitchy hooks are likened to those of Wave Racer and Trippy Turtle's slower tunes.
