SLINGER has taken Pharell’s and Justin Timberlake’s collab track, “Brand New” and gives it a big, modern big band-esque, shiny make-over. The original is already a feel good recipe for your ear buds, but SLINGERS’ remixing makes it impossible to resist a lively hand-clap and ritzy anticipation during electronically enhanced build-ups. A still mysterious producer under the, SLINGER one month ago, released the a cover of Prince’s “No Money,” which came out to be another dance floor hit, equipped with handfuls of funky guitar motifs and disco-era grooves. As enigmatic as SLINGER may be at this point, there's nothing arcane about the fact that he can make a good, dance prompting remix. The good news is they are leaving this up for download, so grab it while it's brand new.
