RAC recently dropped “Strangers,” a collection of collaborations with vocalists from Tokyo Police Club, Peter Bjorn and John, and Bloc Party among others. The Portland producer got his start with remix competitions, and in a short while, made a name for himself with his infectious pop style and clean delivery. Anjos is still touring for his album, and his most recent remix, “All of the People” came from one of his tour mates, Panama Wedding.

The familiar clean palm-muted guitars claim this remix, carrying the track like vertebrae. The synth work here is surprisingly sparse, most of the atmosphere comes from the multiple guitar layers and Kirk’s vocals. The original track “All of the People” gave Panama Wedding a foothold as a group to watch out for. The remix reiterates the message – for both artists.
