If you put the vocals of songstress Jen Hirsh and the production of Scott Smith together, Monogem is born. Not your usual pop dyad, Monogem brings something different to the table. Their music has an 80's pop music flair with electronica and disco influence. The combination of Hirsh's songwriting ability and Smith's production style creates a sound that is extremely catchy and tangible for the listener.
"Wait and See" is a fetching pop tune with a chorus that stays in your head for hours, but not in an annoying way. Hirsh says "Wait and See" is about a dream. "Specifically, that feeling we have all had when you are in such a euphoric moment of a dream, and reality tries to step in and wake you up."
