Glenn Astro is one of those names that makes you wonder how artists like this can slip under the radar so much. Residing in Germany, he’s been involved in numerous releases since 2011, and has developed a unique and original sound that’s just a little bit rough around the edges. His use of analog gear to create warm pads and intense leads is impeccable and fills the stereo field naturally and beautifully.  March 31st marked the release of Astro’s brand new four track Chemistry EP from Tartelet Records. The release is fresh, melodic, and undoubtedly stands out in today's vast array of dance and house music. Elements of techno blended with deep and melodic elements hold this release together and keep it sounding original and unique. Also on the EP is a remix of "Love Jones" from CTEPEO '57, which shares the gritty analog feel with the rest of the record. Catch Glenn Astro in Dussoldorf, Germany on the 12th of April. If you’re not around that area at the present time like myself, sit back and enjoy.
