Daktyl makes an impact with “Stronger Than Ever” remix

I discovered Ritchie Raleigh and Daktyl only in the last few months, but they are quickly riding up the ranks as two of my favorite new artists, their refreshing youth and lusciously innovative styles shining to the forefront of all their work. Though both natives of the talent-filled UK, Daktyl and Ritchie Raleigh have pretty distinct sounds if you compare them side by side. That's why it's pretty cool that both of their styles meet, and meet very amiably, on this larger-than-life remix of Raleigh's original, "Stronger Than Ever," the third track on his latest EP, Black and Blue. The kind of remix you want to hear during a night out, at the height of your favorite DJ's set, the track, released off of Columbia Records is hard-hitting enough for a shocking, head-nod- inducing impact, but has feathery, dotting, and ricocheted elements that create entertaining and energizing drops and make for an overall uniquely dynamic sound experience.

These two Land of the Rose artists have a good deal of momentum to keep them riding the waves of success that keep coming their way; Daktyl just finished a guest mix on Toddla T's BBC 1 Radio show, and Raleigh, after having come off a tour with Angel Haze, is now busy gaining world-wide exposure for his new EP, which you can buy on iTunes here.
