DJ Rell cooked up a free exclusive jersey club tune for us here at EARMILK and it's a doozie. A lot of the jersey club tunes released in the past year have been amazing but are not always true to the original club banging, booty popping sound that it all started from. The genre itself has sky rocketed in the past year with names like DJ Hoodboi, Cashmere Cat, and Trippy Turtle but the originators of the genre remain. Jersey club itself can be credited to the Brick Bandits, a tight knit group of dedicated producer/djs out of New Jersey but has recently spread to a global level. Rell's "Trophies" remix sports the classic horn sounds and hard hitting beats that keep your heart pounding on the dance floor. It's perfect for the peak of almost any party out there.
Rell has seen massive support from Cashmere Cat, Nadus, DJ Tricks, Mike Gip, Sliink, DJ Snake, Diplo, and more. His remixes have acquired an incredible amount of attention on his soundcloud without a promotion company backing him whatsoever. Great content garners its own promotion naturally and Rell is proof of that. Even now he hasn't been picked up for an official label release but I would think it's only a matter of a very short amount of time. He holds it down on his home front in Jersey playing parties non-stop and should be seeing many more show dates soon.
