A sick bass line sets the mood, a light but crystal clear house beat gets you in the groove, and an interesting countermelody throws you off just enough to grab your attention in this in introductory track by Clean Bandit's project Ribs, just released of off the newly formed Eton Messy Records. Sharp yet luscious vocals by Nikki Cisyln, whose voice you may recognize from the Toyboy & Robin's February house banger, "Back & Forth," provide a quick-paced lyricism, adding a level of sassiness to this poised gem of a track. The track debuted on B. Trait's BBC Radio 1 Special Delivery show last night, and there is talk of an official remix soon to come.
