It's been a great year so far for techno DJ/producer Adam Beyer and his label Drumcode, with nominations for Beatport's "Best Label" and IDMA's "Best Indie/Underground Label" and "Best Techno/Tech House DJ," and we'd say it's well-deserved; Beyer's eye for quality and versatility are hard to deny, and it's difficult to think of a set from the DJ/producer that hasn't sent us into an immaculate mental zone.
Released via Nic Fanciulli's Saved imprint (SAVED100), Beyer's take on fellow techno maven Gary Beck is as heavy and all-encompassing as we've come to expect, with hints of something more progressive than the typical Drumcode harshness.
Check out his remix of Gary Beck below and catch Beyer on his North American tour that kicked off in Toronto a few days ago, joined by acts like Ida Engberg and Nicole Moudaber for select dates. The remix is due for release March 10 as part of a compilation mixed by Marc Fanciulli.
