In an age of instantaneous and unrelenting releases, an artist doesn’t necessarily have a lot of time to garner a listener’s interest; producing a track that does so the very second it starts can therefore be seen as one of life’s sweet rarities.
Bordeaux’s very own Darius will probably notice his musical stock rising considerably once people get their ears around his latest release via. Roche Records, “Hot Hands”; taken from the Frenchman’s new Romance E.P, this dreamy dose of Disco House boasts more va-va-voom than a Thierry Henry commercial and will undoubtedly result in a surge of listeners raiding his back catalogue for more of the same – in which case they will leave more than satisfied.
For all the skill evident in previous tracks, most notably “Maliblue”, this is definitely his best offering yet whether you’re a big house fan or not, I dare you to not be seduced this ingenious blend of alluring vocals and the uplifting melody bounces throughout: from start to finish it’s pure brilliance.
