Kito & Reija Lee originally from Perth, Australia, are based actualy in London, together are inspired by a vast selection of genres and performers, from Kate Bush, via J Dilla to M83. Separately, Kito’s deep love for hip-hop and underground electronic music and Reija ’s passion for rock and folk infuses an edgy and atmospheric sound. "Starting Line" is an original track that builds on massive synths and an overarching drumline, a brand new project which mixes sparkling melodies with Reija's standout vocals, almost putting one under hypnosis on first listen. Talking about the track, Kito remarked, "It's a special song for us. Reija quit her day job last year. From there on out, this group was it. We got a studio together, and we've been working towards this. In some strange way, it feels like our very first single."
Kito & Reija Lee are currently in their studio in Brixton, working on their upcoming album, but will be coming over to the U.S. throughout the year for select dates.
