A-Trak & Lex Luger tag-team for the thumping "Jack Tripper"

Fresh off of his unlikely (but no unwelcome) collaboration with Cam'ron, A-Trak is back with another peculiar pairing that's sure to get your eardrums vibrating. It appears the Fool's Gold head honcho is gearing up to drop an EP with trap sensation Lex Luger sometime this year, and the joint venture will operate under the moniker Low Pros. The first offering from this EP (or series of EPs) is "Jack Tripper," which features two of trap music's most exciting and eccentric young stars: Young Thug & Peewee Longway.

"Jack Tripper" is a homage to a fictional character from the Three's Company sitcom (sort of), that takes his living arrangement, explained rather obviously by the shows title, and turns it into an ode for rap bachelors – "Three sluts off in my bachelor pad; they call him 'Jack Tripper'." Together, A-Trak and Lex Luger deliver one of the more innovative trap beats – with some help from Metro Boomin – and their guests take full advantage. Young Thug and Peewee Longway play off each other effortlessly to the point you'd think they were actually operating as members of a group (and they should be). When one changes the pace, the other follows, and and the dynamic is incredibly enjoyable. One can only imagine what the rest of the EP sounds like, especially in the wake of this little gem.

There isn't much A-Trak can't do, clearly, as he seems right at home with his trap brethren. Such versatility is what makes him one of the dopest to do it. Check it out for yourself. Stream Atrak & Lex Luger's "Jack Tripper" featuring Young Thug & Pewee Longway below, and be on the lookout for more from both duos very soon.
