Today we got sent this amazing new dream-pop track by the mysterious Allie X. We recently got to preview the awe-inspiring body of unreleased music Allie has written and was absolutely blown away. Although we're only able to put this one track into the wild we can promise you there is so much more where this came from it's almost scary.
That said if you're going to get one track to preview then "Catch" is a pretty good catch. Allie's latest is a thumping electronic anthem that reminds us of the best of the ethereal swedish pop sound mixed with our favourite nostalgic 80s teen movie soundtrack.
The very cryptic Allie had this to say about her new track:
"As I child I used to spin around, purposely making myself dizzy and my surroundings skewed. When everything got blurry enough, I would close my eyes and drop down to the floor, revelling in the feeling of being suspended while the rest of the world whirled around me. Cradled in the center of a top that I set in motion. The feeling only ever lasted for ten seconds or so then I'd start spinning again to get it back. I think I have been doing that ever since. X"
