Smooth trap trills and a beat heavy enough to sink a cruise ship meet the chopped up vocals of the one-and-only Marvin Gaye in 19 year old DJ and producer Jimmy Q's remix of "Let's Get It On." Taking on a song that is iconic not only because of its creator but also because of its "baby-makin" power, Jimmy Q provides a modern twist with to the record, throwing in brilliant-sounding glassy synths as well as some subtle samples from "Nas Is Like." Educated in music production at The New School in Manhattan NYC and known for his signature "slow jam" style, Jimmy Q is one to watch for in 2014.
