Ryan Playground turns heads with cover of Rihanna’s “D I A M O N D $”

Ryan Playground, Montreal’s favourite model turned producer, releases a brand new project showcasing her versatility. "D I A M O N D $" is Ryan’s own take on Rihanna’s track of the same name, however the young Canuck took it to the next level… and way out to left field. Ryan completely recreates the beat, raps and sings as she transforms Rihanna’s hit into a hard banging minimal trap experience, with a steady flow and great vocals. She'll be kicking off 2014 with a huge set at one of the world's most daring events, Igloofest, which takes place outside in the middle of Montreal's bitter winter. The not for the feint-of-heart winter music festival, well-known for continually pushing musical boundaries with their line-ups, is a perfect fit for Ryan’s sound. She will be playing the second installment of the four weekend event, on Thursday January 23rd, alongside Saintwoods roster-mates Jay London, NoKliche, Myfrienderic. and LoveThyBrother.
