If you're looking high and low for something new to get your groove on, look no more. Santero currently runs the label Weird Science, but don't let the name fool you. Santero prides himself in taking unique angles towards modern house, but in the end, it all comes together in a groovy, nostalgic way. The London native is also on the roster of Ministry of Sound, which only boosts his DJ street cred to a new level.
In the near future, more specifically on January 27, he will be dropping a new EP called Why They Trippin'. The EP itself includes three originals, with two remixes courtesy of Ursa Major and The Elementz. Here at EARMILK, you have the chance to take an early sneak peek of what the EP has to offer. Dip your ears into "Sometimes", one of the three originals off of Why They Trippin'. This particular song has a strong, deep house twist to it with vocal samples to elevate. There are mild yet hypnotic electronic effects that pulsate in and out of the background while simultaneously being in sync with the kicking bass. "Sometimes" is a perfect song for that late night cocktail party.
Hit it, then mingle.
