"Water Me" by UK artist FKA Twigs is easily one of my favorite songs of 2013. The intimacy and sorrow that lingers long after the words escape Twigs's lips project a mournful cycle of self reflection; and as she unleashes her vulnerability, you become the other side of a doleful yet open conversation between her and her listeners.
Producer and DJ DJ DJ Booth adds another dimension to "Water Me" in this beautiful remix. With gentle bass and an upbeat tempo, the remix pulls away from the slower sound while adhering to the song's softness and radiance. DJ DJ Booth's rework plays on the original track's ambience and bone chilling vocals in a way that smoothly blends with the newly introduced light, poppy beat.
DJ DJ Booth is a bit of a mystery to us right now but we hope to hear more music from this DJ/producer in the near future.
