After grabbing the attention of listeners with their Dimensions EP late last year Louis The Child have started 2014 with a bang by serving up a bootleg remix of Empire Of The Sun's "Walking On A Dream". The Chicago natives have started making a name for themselves using crisp production and dizzying edits; what makes this production duo so exciting is their ability to blend production styles from Dubstep, Electro and Nu Disco into funky hard hitting anthems that instantly stand out as crowd pleasers. The mix starts with a bed of warm chords using beautifully written progressions and some disco inspired tambourines and clicks, almost a tease into a new production style until you're hit with the full force of bright chopped pads and slap bass. The track is a great example of their ability to take inspiration from different genres and create music that will be pleasing the majority throughout the year and the original vocals from "Walking On A Dream" is just the icing on the cake.
