Over the holiday season one of Toronto's young artists Raz Fresco released a single titled "Slang Raps". The aggressive 90's inspired instrumental was produced by Raz himself who has quite the production resume under his belt to back up his strong catalog of mixtapes and albums. Always one to take the conscious route this song takes aim at motivating listeners to stay true and follow their goals. Something that may surprise those who are unfamiliar with Raz's music would be his historical references, especially focusing on African history.
Set to drop his lastest project titled Pablo Frescobar in the near future. Old fans and new listeners alike will have the chance to familiarize themselves with the thoughts and issues some of Toronto's youth are dealing with. Rumored to have a few major features stay tuned for more information in the coming weeks. Until then listen to "Slang raps" below.
