When thinking of artists who have helped shape the face of dance music forever, the legendary electronic artist Tiesto must be at the top of the list. Before festivals touched down in every city and FM radio blared electro house bangers, "Traffic" had become an anthem for a new generation of eager fans connected by beats and bass. Though 2011 saw him release Kiss From The Past as Allure, Red Lights marks the first album since the Dutch trance veteran released as Tiesto since the progressive-leaning Kaleidescope in 2009.
Premiered on Pete Tong's Radio 1 show, the same-named "Red Lights" drops today as the debut single from the world-renowned producer. With heartwarming male vocals and a round 4 on the floor beat, the song will be sure to recall good memories (and create a few more!). Tiesto gained the honor of being the first artist to receive DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs Legend Award, an accolade that marks almost 20 years in the industry for the producer and a little over 20 for the publication.
