UK based drum n’ bass DJ and producer duo Sigma have released the official video for single “Rudeboy,” which features Doctor. Cameron Edwards and Joe Lenzie have rapidly gained a major reputation for their eclectic, jungle-infused dance floor beats. Their sound is classic, yet modern, and the music video is a perfectly executed visual representation of the track itself. Filmed in an urban, project-laden setting, the music video features fist fights on a bridge, bloody knuckles, and a plethora of inner city images and fashions. The barbed wire, set against a grey, blank sky that overlooks an empty playground adds to the themes of interrupted youth and the idea of having to be a soldier for survival. Sigma has received a massive amount of support for the track, as it was featured as the “track of the day” ad on Radio 1, and was included as both the BBC 1Xtra and Capital Xtra playlists, as well as being named MistaJam’s ‘Jam Hot’ for UK audiences. Having collaborated with the likes of DJ Fresh, Rusko, Stylo G, Ellie Goulding, Eric Prydz, Groove Armada, Skepta, and Sway the duo is sure keep impressing listeners. After all, their track “All Blue” has already become the most downloaded single of all time in the drum n’ bass arena.
