Avicii really knows how to make us patiently wait for a release. His remix of fellow Swede Syn Cole's "Miami 82" has been floating around for about 9 months now, since the annual Miami flood of music previews and releases back in March, and finally gets its official release today. Out on Le7els, it not only exemplifies the tech-y and acidic melodic grind of the label, but the sound that made the Swedish producer the superstar he is today.
Not to be diminished is the Estonian protege of the Le7els label, Syn Cole. After seeing impressive breakout success on his April EP back in February, "Miami 82" is a funky, well-layered addition to his resume, and another reason why he's quickly gaining a following with such a small number of releases backing up his talent.
