Tom Staar – "Faces" (Feat. Chrom3)

I remember writing my first post on Tom Staar almost a year ago, just when he was really starting to gain some major attention. Fast forward to the last month, which has seen him release on labels like Spinnin' Records and Star Traxx, and this week's song, "Faces", on Wolfgang Gartner's Kindergarten Records. Though a bright progressive house work at heart that finds lightness in the vocals of talented British singer Chrom3, the track drops into something much heavier. It's this bouncy, grinding mid that sets "Faces" apart, especially when contrasted against the more uplifting segments of the song. Tom Staar just performed at Sunburn in Banagalore and will be heading to play select North American dates in the coming weeks.
