Fyfe – "Lies Pt. II"

Fyfe has been laying low for quite some time, recording his debut album. He returns with "Lies Pt. II," the sequel to "Lies" off his beautiful Solace EP. We last heard from him in September via Jeremy of Summer Camp's fun "Solace" remix. While his emotions were swirling on Solace, "Lies Pt. II" features a more heartbroken Fyfe. His beautifully layered production on Solace was an interesting introduction to his music. For the melancholy "Lies Pt. II," he strips it down to the bare minimum, singing "Please don't waste your love on me" softly, backed only by a few distant synths. Here's yet another example of the British musician forcing us to deviate from any expectations we may have had for his new offerings, instead pursuing a minimal approach that still breaks our hearts.
