Danny Brown's "Dip" is one of the biggest street anthems of Fall, and with it's high intensity, paired with Brown's high pitched vocals, the track was long overdue for a remix that appropriately used these weapons to its advantage. Luckily, Brisbane producer Whatson Watts has brought a bass infused rework that will bring fans of the trap genre and hip hop together in rejoicing in the massive talents of SKYWLKR and Brown.
This version refuses to take the Detroit native out of the spotlight, as various remixes can often do, and in fact uses him as a tool rather than a hinderance. Bringing the intensity up to a ten, which I wasn't even sure could have been done with this track, Whatson Watts puts the party back into the month old track, perfectly in time for whatever Halloween party you're going to this week.
