While I have always prided myself on my love for all things hip hop, I have found that one of my guilty pleasures lies in the dark underworld of dance music. The "EDM wave" never really got to me, but electronic sounds from the likes of Daniel Avery, Gesaffelstein, and now, Symmetry, have become strong personal favorites that have opened a whole new reality for me.
The aforementioned producer and DJ is an up and coming artist that is not to be missed. While certainly not as dark as some of the guys I mentioned above, he certainly retains a shadowy edge that will appeal to fans of Phantasy Sound. There is still a melodic factor, notably with the track "Invariant," surely drawing in fans of tracks that lean toward a more house sound. Symmetry will certainly appeal to those who enjoy the simple things in life, like kick ass music.
